Laptop as synth module/ sync and route

I'm an avid MAC user and well, I just bloody well love the z3ta. As some of you know the z3ta is a pc only vsti which leaves me out.

I currently have a pc laptop at my disposal and z3ta, my question is how do I route the two computers and manage to sync the time. I know it's a question of...

Logic=midi out ->pc= midi in ->PC = audio out -> Mac = Audio in

...what sort of hardware is needed for this.

This is the cheapest, most efficient way I know of.

Get one of these for the Mac and one of these for the PC.

The idea is you need a midi out from the Mac and both midi and quality audio out of the PC. The US122 is not mandatory, it's just something I've had luck with on my own laptop. It won't handle a truly heavy load, but one instance of the z3ta shouldn't be a problem.
