First off, let me apologize if this is the wrong forum for this, but I didn't see any amp specific place, so I figured this wis the closest thing.
My problem is with this Laney amp I have, hopefully somone her has a bit more know how than I and can give me some kind of answer. It goes like this; when the amp is set at a very low volume(1 or lower) it plays fine, but the minute you move it above that and hit a note, it buzzes something horrible. To me, the buzzing sounded like something was resting against the speaker cone and just getting jiggled around by the vibration, but upon further inspection, I realized that this isn't the case.
The speaker itself seems fine, I see no tears or anything, and the amp plays fine, so I don't think it's anywhere in the electronics. So I turn to you guys. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, as I now have to leave for the day job, but I'll be back to check this thread later tonight.
Thanks Again.
