A bit of an eclectic mix of styles - hopefully it all flows together as intended and takes you on a bit of a journey. Open to feedback on the mix of course, plus any other criticism.

the snaps at 1:25 are heavy handed.
I get it - to snap me out of my stupor, but maybe too shrill.
and I like all the sounds after, like you're throwing down all the trappings of commercialism.
the roll at 1:41 into a sick funk beat - very enjoyable.
Are you bitch slapping me at the 2 minute mark? feels like I'm being perp slapped for something yet undisclosed.
30 seconds later it is even more funky. oh this is good now - so much to hear.
3:20 funk lays low. I like it.
Nice outro.
The swell at 4:08 would be warmer if louder unless you want it to be harsh like the Egyptian sun you've conjured up here in sound.
Dragging the stone to build the labyrinth into which you hope to be lain. :)

Really liked the string segment and then how it settled down into saying its piece just after the 2 minute mark.

How you have managed not to sing to this at some point is beyond me. You must have a lousy singing voice lol.

Bridging heavy and smooth funky is an accomplishment. Good work.

Thanks for the feedback! Dobro, I do indeed have a dreadful singing voice, I wouldn't inflict that on my worst enemy.

Open to more feedback on the mix.

bump for mix feedback. I've already determined that maybe the bass needs dialing back in parts..not by much, maybe a dB or two.

Some filthy synths and strings. I like it a lot. It's like Gary Numan went on vacation to the Middle East. I'm on crappy office speakers so can't critique the mix too much except to say it sounds divine on them. Despite the Numan reference it's very original. Got a cinematic quality. Listened a few times and it gets better, a good sign. Great job, you'd be happy with this
