Recording sounds good, very imaginative and assembled very well. I don`t know what the hell you Sam and a few others are using to get that oscillation on the guitar strings rather than a pick or pluck, is that the ebow thing? Anyways it was cool and fun listen...

This kicks butt!

Nowhere seems to be in a funk right now and I couldn't get the last 15 seconds - I have a feeling I'm missing a cool ending.

Very cool arrangement. Bass sounds great. Gong was a nice touch. The dirty guitar that was part of the unison around 1:15 my be a little "crackly" - more so during the unison, and maybe just a little in the part that immediately follows.

I'll need to check out some of your other work when nowhere is at full speed again. Great work!

You are definitely twisted! I mean that in a good way! I think I'm having a flashback.

Thanx to everyone for listening!
Toki987:not sure wich guitar parts you refer to,no ebow though. Some synth strings in addition to guitar might create that illusion.
Fprod:If you only missed last 15sec,you didn't miss anything. It ends very abruptly(I'm writing a whole project in pieces, and will just pick up where I left off).
Twist:Thanx and enjoy your flashback!:D

I gave it another listen this morning. Apparently I was listening closely to that LFO filter modulation on one of the synths and didnt let it go while listening to the rest. Its tracked closely enough to the guitar I thought you were maybe putting the guitar thru a filter mod patch too, or "something". :) I'm sure that half bottle of "Blue Nun" I had helped me arrive at that!!

listening on crappy computer speakers, mix sounds great. Nice presence on all instruments, drums sound killer, especially the snare.

Zappa does come to mind. Interesting piece.

Sounds pretty cool. Pleasantly weird. Mix sounds a little 'hollow', midrangy though...have no idea why....:)

I like this one a lot.

It has really interesting sound & changes. Rock on.;)

pretty interesting stuff.

main complaint:... this mix is almost completely collasped to mono. Except for a few drum fills and such here and there, I'd almost consider it a mono mix.

Your probably right mixmkr.I get timid about panning things out too much.I'll take a listen and see what can be done.Thanx!

I like mono mixes, sometimes.

I have no problem with it, in fact my entire "I Remember You" cd is mixed to mono.;)

Whoa! That was a real ride you took me on there Beezle! I like the mix of dissonance and logic here--it sets up a real interesting contrast. Puts me in an emotional space that has no words to describe, but I dug it. Reminds me a bit of early Capatain Beefheart and His Magic Band. Ever listen to them?

Heard of 'em,but not familiar with thier work.Actually, the biggest influence in this tune would have to be Igor Stravinsky.

Since you mentioned that, A piece that yours brought to mind for me of sorts, was from an older Gino Vannelli album called "Pauper in Paradise" THe B side title tune, movements 2 thru 4. Joe Vannelli, Casey Shurrell , and the Royal Philharmonic. I`m sure you'd find it interesting.

Sheeeit...this is nothing like the acid I remember.

Cool composition though...weird as hell.
