but i wonder y i can't record syth though the sound card.
in past use SB driver, i just do
1) select the record in sb mixer (syth)
2) open an new audio track in cubase
3) start record
but now can record, there's no reaction,y?

Go to the KX Project site (do a search for it). There is a lot of setup required. For example, I think everything works better when ALL SB software is removed before installing the KX drivers.
Also, you have to do a bit of routing in the DSP module to get the best results from the ASIO driver ... I assume you are using the ASIO drivers?

Have you loaded a soundfont on the soundfont page on kx mixer?
You have to do that. (and maybe save your soundfont setup, but I don´t know, I don´t use soundfonts.)
kx drivers still have some problems with soundfonts. I don´t think you can load fonts bigger than 119 MB. And maybe they sou7nd slightly different than with Creative´s drivers.
Look at kx soundfont forum.
