Kurzweil KSP-8 Effects

Im looking at a kurzeil ksp-8 with 8 inputs/outputs and remote... just wondering if its worh spending 2500 bucks on. anyone used this unit?
ive heard good things about there reverbs, are they in the same league with the PCM 91, 70's? any info or reviews would be cool...thanks
 
I own a KSP8 and a PCM91, among other fx boxes. The KSP8 is very high quality, and is certainly up there in the same league as the boxes you are comparing it to. In many ways more flexible and better sounding.

However, it does not sound like a PCM-91 or PCM-70, it sounds like itself. So if you want that Lexicon sound you should go for a Lexicon.

I also think you can get a new KSP8 for less than $2,500. Maybe closer to $2,000 if you shop around. Definitely worth the money, especially if you consider that you are really getting basically four fx boxes for the money.
