KRK Setup, What to go for?

Hello,

Im new here. Signed up because i need to ask some questions.

Im looking to get a KRK setup. These are just for listing to music - no mixing will be done!

What should i go for? Im tempted for this setup:

2x KRK VXT6 Powered Reference Studio Monitor
&
KRK 10s Powered Reference Studio Subwoofer

Or do i go for:

KRK VXT4 Powered Reference Studio Monitor
&
KRK 10s Powered Reference Studio Subwoofer


Also how would i plug this system in to my computer. Is there anyway to plug it in though Optical?
(This is where i need the most help) I dont have a clue how to plug it in!

Studio monitors are not designed "just for listening" - they're designed for mixing. They don't flatter the music, their purpose is to accurately reveal it so that the engineer can make mix decisions.

If you want something JUST to listen to music via your 'puter, then I'd be looking at normal hifi set ups rather than KRK studio monitors.
