I own a pair of the RP8s and they are great monitors. I would not get anything less than a 6". If I where you I would buy a pair of the Wharfedale 8.2A which have a 6.5" woffer and just sound awesome. Everyone here will tell that they will out perform anything under $800.00. I have both the RP8 and 8.2A and i use my 8.2A 99% of the time. I'm also a KRK and Wharfedale dealer.
To boot the Wharfedales have a 5 year warranty and are only 275.00 for the pair.
