KRK Rokit Powered RP-8???

I just bought a pair of the KRK Rp-8's and wanted to know if anyone has heard them? They should arrive in a week - can't wait.
 
I've heard them in a fairly uncontrolled environment... They sounded pretty nice. They have that "KRK" flavor - It takes a bit to get used to, but it certainly isn't bad. I'm a fan.
 
I heard them last week.. I'm going up to get them in the next few days. I loved them.
 
John - Can you elaborate on that "KRK Flavor" you refer to?

I think Blue Bear could elaborate better - He used KRK's for quite a time if I'm not mistaken...

Care to share Bruce? You know that "flava" I'm talking about...

do you need to use sub woofer? I heard it not enough for electronic music??
 
It's like Christmas UPS just dropped off my new KRK's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
im new to the board.

i just bought a pair of rokit 8s today and have been playing with them for over 12 hours now!!! i cant turn them off. i spent the past 3 months deciding on monitors and i tries haflers, roland, alesis, mackie, other krk (v) and behringer. the rokit 8s blew everything away by 1,00,000,000. i finally can hear my music.!
