its a pretty nice board man,
have you tried it yet....? id say i like the action of the keys, and there is definitely enough parameters in there to get what sound you are looking for. The presets sound very nice...id say the ms200 would be a excellent analog modeler for someone who plays multiple keyboards at once...the tones are just the right touch. im definitely considering getting one for my rig, only because its very affordable....most analog snyths will suck you dry.
the drawbacks....i think the pitch and mod wheel dont feel that good...kinda cheap. this is crucial for me cause i think its important that an analog style board have good response on the wheels, they are used QUITE often..
it also took me a while to figure out how to work the darn thing..
too limited polyphony.. i mean 4.. come on korg, it's the 21st century.. a Novation Supernova II got 48 voices with up to 6 oscillators, 2 independant fm generators and a noise generator.. per voice... erhmm.. go check out the Waldorf MicroQ if you can't afford stuff like the supernova.. the MicroQ is a sweet arse piece of gear.. but you'd have to buy a little ol' 30$ midi keyboard to play it.
