Korg m1 trubbles

for any Korg m1 owners out there (the real one, not the new software one) is it possible to control the VDF via midi CC messages? When you turn the dial on m1 it records data into the sequencer (cubase) on a program change number but it won't play back those data changes....weird


maybe i should just either forget it and strap a software filter across the outputs or fork out for the new korg digital legacy collection version of the m1 that has a resonant filter on it

It's been years since I've used an M1 but as I recall their midi implementation was pretty weak. A manual will tell you if they accept those CC's.
