I'm looking into this workstation. I'm a newbie, and I'm 15. This is my first piece of production equipment that I'll be buying. But I'm not confirming that 'til I learn more about the Karma. Lets get on with this, I'm into hip-hop/r&b/soul. I'm not a sampler, so I don't need the sampler on the Triton. I'm into alot of mainstream beat, stuff like Dr Dre, Timbaland, Fredwreckk. The sound that I would like to obtain is west-coast gangster rap, but still be able to bust out some Alicia Keys, old school soul sound. I'm really looking for the best sounding hip-hop/r&b/soul-esque workstation out there. I know the Karma has an excellent sequencer, so I'm not at all worried about that. But I need more info, anybody with hands on work with the Karma would be great. Someone who owns the Karma, not someone who just ran in the store & played two or three sounds off the keyboard. Not that many people here own a Karma as far as I've heard.
But I would think that you would love it. I would like to have one myself.
