korg DSS-1 / Peavey PC1600 controller

I have both of these. Reason i purchase the controller was that there's a .sys file that can be loaded onto it that has all the presets to work with the DSS-1.

only thing, I have no idea how to load them onto the controller.

Is there a software you can recommend to get this done?
 
.sys or .syx?

syx is a sysex file (midi system exclusive) and can be uploaded to the peavy with something like midiox or Bome's sendSX. It should work very well with an external controller.
 
Thank you very much! I ended up using sendFX and it connected! (didn't work, but it did connect, so now I'll try to figure out why it didn't reprogram correctly)
