korg d8 soundcard

I have a korg d8 its a good little tool until you want to get the music out of it.
from what iv read the best way to get it on cd is to run it through a computer with a soundcard with optical or s/pdif ports
does anyone have any knowledge of this and the type of soundcard needed ?

You could use the M-audio 2496 USB or PCI card. Real low priced right now and have excellent converters on them. Also you can read more about spdif and optical below.
