Actually, I'm a guitar player and keyboard player who has to pretend to play bass for my homade recordings. So I have a bass, but I have until now just kept it simple and stupid. Bass > DI > track.
But I saw this Korg AX5B bass modeler for a real bargain price with free shipping. So I'm wondering if the thing is good enough for home recording, and is it worth $100 bucks (new). I know my guitar gear, but I know almost nothing about what's out there for bass.
Anybody used one of these things? Is it plastic junk? Or is this a good deal? Does Korg have decent sound?
