Know where to get a free compression DX plug-in?

Me either. I'm not cheap, just flat broke after buying all this stuff and its time to pay the bills, and I really need a compressor directx plug in but I havent been able to find one that actually works. The n-track stuff mutes the output till you register it and buy it and I just dont have money right now. Any help????
