Yes they produce a searing tone. But you really have to crank them up to get the filaments glowing like a giant EL34.

I'm not sure of any recording however there is a sick 32" hdtv LCD Television at target for only $249. You also get a free $10 gift card.

Cant beat that. You can always use it IN your studio
