I can't wait to hear them!

yeah...I think Kiss did their best work up to Alive! The production might NOT have been that great...but the tunes were cool!

Kiss - Alive is still one of my fav albums after all these years..Eddie Kramer did an awesome job on it!
Yeah, I like all of their make-up era stuff. 'Dynasty' and 'Unmasked' were pretty weak by their standards, but everything up to that point was great. 'Rock and Roll Over' and 'Love Gun' are my favorite KISS albums.

And, Ace's solo album was fantastic. Ace is the man. :)

A little background info:

This was an online collaboration between a friend of mine in the Netherlands and myself. He's new to recording, and wanted to lay some guitar tracks. We both love old KISS stuff, so we thought we'd give the long-distance collab a try. He did all of the acoustic and electric guitars, and I did the drums, bass, vocals, and final mixdown. He has to record direct, so we were limited with the guitar tones. He also wanted to EQ and control the overall feel of the guitars himself, so I left them alone. So, all guitars are him, and the drums, bass, and vox are me.

I don't sound like Paul Stanley, and can't even come close, so pardon the vocals. ;)

I love it!

I am not going to critique the mix or playing because I am a HUGE KISS FAN and that is all I am going to say! :)

Greg:

Your versions ever sounds great.

I´m not a huge fan of this song, but you did another great job, and singing different from Paul Stanley´s original, what is important.Very well played too, as usual.
Guitar tone (intro) it´s beautifull, but sounds a little strange when band starts, even more than the original version (but yet sounds great separetely , like "very good apples and oranges" :D )

Congrats

Ciro

Thanks Ciro. I think if the intro weren't so shrill the two pieces would segue a little easier. Thanks for listening. :)

Sounding really good here. Guess I really don't know that much about the song because I don't remember the first part. I have the Alive LP, but just can't seem to recollect that part of it. Hmm.... guess I'll have to break out the old turntable and give it a spin.

Sounds pretty damn good to me. I don't know the original, but I hear KISS all over this. (or Spinal Tap...I'm not sure :) )

I think you got a 70's vibe in this, and I love the voclas. I'd probably prefer this version to hearing P. Stanley sing this.

Nice sound all around, Greg. Love the panning of the guitars, too and the drums sound perfect to me, for this kind of tune.

The bass comes through really well on my computer speakers. :) Amazing.
