Ok here's the deal: I have little use for this stuff anymore but I would like to see it all stay in the Homerecording.com family.
The sale is for two items but I would like to sell it as a package, I'll explain why in a second here.
Items:
1. Roland VM3100 digital mixer ($500)
This mixer is in great condition and has many cool features. 2 compressors that blow my alesis away, onboard effects and EQ, 8 busses including SPDIF and optical outputs, 4 analog sends, 8 high quality preamps and 12 analog inputs. The coolest feature of this mixer to me is the ability to remotely mix 16 MIDI channels, you just press the MIDI button and the 8 main faders are controlling the MIDI channels of your favorite sequencer or computer program on two banks. I've used it with both Cubase and Logic and it performs flawlessy. It also has transport controls for controlling software of hardware sequencers.
2. Yamaha QY70 sequencer ($300)
This sequencer is a fully featured XG sequencer. It has 16 tracks of linear MIDI recording with tons of onboard sounds with everything from great sounding drums to pads to realistic pianos that are really the best I've used. It has an 8 part pattern sequencer that can be used in the song mode as 8 extra channels giving you 24 channels of MIDI. The massive sound control of this little thing completely blows my mind. It has many effects and EQ types including amp simulators and full envelope editing. The sequencer includes a computer interface cable and data filer software.
The mixer and sequencer are great buddies because of the mixer's MIDI control. The sequencer can be controlled from the mixer's transport and faders.
So here's the deal: if you want to buy both I will include an Evolution MK 149 MIDI controller keyboard and a Midiman 2X2 merge box to hook any other keyboards or modules to the rig. The system as a whole will control a few other MIDI sound sources and mix them in MIDI and audio through the VM3100. The VM3100 is automatable and the sequencer can actually record fader moves to a MIDI channel on the QY70.
I really don't want to peice this stuff out on ebay...
So the package is $800 and includes everything shown below including MIDI cables. Contact me if you are interested.
