As in the title. I use UR22 soundcard, CUBASE and YAMAHA.

I composed some piano songs and wanted to record them. The sound is a little flat and sharp, especially unplesant in middle tones. Other istruments also have that sound, but doesn's sound so bad as in piano instrument. I record audio, not midi.

I will be gratefull for any suggestions what to do; and sorry for my English.

Is it a real piano you recorded or is it a piano sample?
Same question for the other instruments....and if they are real, then are they tuned up properly?

A sound card and DAW software isn't going to make a recording sound a little sharp/flat in spots.

Post a clip, so we can hear what you are talking about

I assume that you are plugging the Yamaha (keyboard) into the UR22, and when you say 'flat and sharp', you mean the sound is dull (flat) and yet harsh (sharp) at times?

Yes, the guys here need to harken unto you.

In the meantime download the demo of Modartt's Pianoteq. If THAT does not sound like a good piano get the lugs checked!

Dave.
