keyboard sequencer tracks to digi oo1

Can anybody tell me if I have to lay down a midi track in pro tools to transfer the tracks I have recorded in my keyboard sequencer? I was wanting just to sync the keyboard to the digi oo1 and transfer the tracks one by one. I have them both synced together but I cant here the anolog in the phones or the moniters when the keyboard is triggered by digi 001 is this normal?
 
Thats Okay I figured it out

Disregard this thread!!! no I dont have to lay down a midi trac to record the tracks from my form my keyboard on to my 001. The problem was I was not hereing it in the moniter and didn't think it was working. Thanks anyway. Randall
