hey so I posted this on the keyboard forum about a week ago to no response. I have a Yamaha P105 and when I bought I was mainly planing on using it as an electric piano for practicing and writing, but now wisely decided to use it for recording. However, I found that it is not equipped with MIDI jacks. So here is my question:
Can I still use this for electronically orchestrating my recordings?
I have run its output through my guitar amp and mic'd it with OK results, but I had grand plans of getting some VSTi's and trying to actually produce a decent song or two. Do you have any suggestions? Are there any kind of interfaces that I can use as a "between" step after my keyboard (which has a USB out) and my Fastrack Ultra? Thanks!
