Keyboard MIDI Interface Problems

I'm using a Yamaha DX7 (keyboard) with a Sound Blaster Live Platinum 5.1 (sound card) with CWP 9.03. I've used the keyboard with other programs, so I know the hardware is working fine. It has to be CWP. What happens is when i select Staff View and the keyboard is on, it shuts down and give me the error message that says that cwp9.exe has generated errors and must close down. (i'm sure we've all see it in other programs too) This is not to be confuse with the "illegal operation" error, which can kinda tell you something, this error tells me nothing more than what i mentioned. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has encountered this and has any ideas of how to fix it. Thanks for your help.

I think you might need to reinstall Cakewalk. On their website there's a procedure where they specify all the stuff you need to do to cleanly uninstall and reinstall it. Do a search on "kernel32" and you should be able to find it.
