I wasn't able to get down to the recording space last night - couldn't make noise - Mrs wasn't well so I cobbled together a film clips for the as yet unfinished mix of the song. Easy as stuff because of the historcal references & open source clips.

It's interesting - the older version has MORE of everything in it, louder guitars, two basses on the chorus, louder distirted swelling guitars throughout but simple drum machine patterns. The inclusion of real drums has, as expected, brought with it a raft of sonic issues of sonic competition, apparent volume and different things standing out. I plan to work dilligently with the ideas offered over the next week or so to get things into perspective. Thn\anks mate.
