JVC-Nivico Reverb Amp

Anyone heard of this?

It's a small in-line reverb amp that in ancient times
was used to obtain depth, presence and spatial
qualities to music- long before time delay and
digital processing, when PLL tuning was state- of-
the - art and listening rooms reeked of the rich earthy odor of Ferrous Oxide tapes and marihuana. The only
"disc" format came in LP, EP and 45rpm forms and
the SONY ELCASET was a novel idea.

Gawd, I'd love to find one. I'm slowly retrofitting a listening room to include some of these items...

I have a Nivico Reverb

Hello Faithmonster...
I just purchased a Nivico Stereo Reverb unit. I will probably be listing it on ebay after I run some tests on it and clean it up. When I first looked at it, I noticed the pilot/reverb setting viewing lamp was fairly dim. I thought maybe some one installed the wrong lamp, or it has low voltage. I noticed a switch close to the power transformer. One side read 115, the other 230. It was set to the wrong line voltage. Like I said, I still need to check it out. It has 2 sets of reverb springs in it.
If you have any questions about it feel free to send an email.
Thanks,
Mr Hockey
