If my connection wasn't shitty, I'd be watchin that right now :D

yea im feelin that video its just too bad the song has nothing to do with katrina at all. at least not from what i heard maybe i didnt listen to the whole thing though.

Yeah you have to listen carefully because he does drop some info about Katrina in it. You also have to catch the symbolism in it. For instance, the Dubya mask had "Help Is Coming" printed on the back, but the kids wound up throwing supplies off the bridge tied to parachutes, not the government.

I also thought it was cool that Soulja Slim got respect in the end since No Limit and Cash Money was always beefin back in the day...too bad No Limit ain't doin shit now tho'.

you gotta realize before no limit and cash money crap.. B.G. had S.S. featured on his earlier albums before S.S. signed with No Limit.. they were boys even throughout the CM/NL mess..Everyone is showing respect to a falling warrior over stupid stuff..

See I didn't listen to B.G. until Chopper City, so it was probably before that. Good knowledge. I personally thought the CM/NL mess was stupid. Instead of dissing, they should have been supporting.

when Partners-n-Crime did "Drag'em in the River"..LOL

also Mac was on the original "Ni***'s N Trouble" on the Chopper City ('97) album.

I remember when Soulja Slim went by Magnolia Slim...he was on No Limit's Down South Hustler's compilation. That was the first time I'd heard him. Big Boy Records had some good artists back in the day. So bknot, I was talkin' about Mystikal's career with some homeboys not too long ago. Me personally, I think even when he gets out, it'll be hard to make a comeback since everything's changed since he originally got locked up? What do you think?

It really depends on who he hook up with producer wise..and I bet he will do a track with Mannie . do to the fact that it was once said he would sound good on one of his beats..but the market is so filled with dance/club tracks i think it will be a little hard for him to get back to where he was on top of his game..but who knows..he could be sittin on gold when he does get released..

Im waitin on Pimp C to release his fiya on america...UGK back together.."How You Love That"

IMO UGK never really broke up...they just separated for a lil bit while Pimp C was doing his time. Mystikal always had good dance/club tracks so it's anybody's guess. I'd love to see him either on one of Mannie's tracks or on one of Lil' Jon's. Either would fit him really well.

true dat..Bun B been holdin it done for pimp..i glad hes out...now he needs to stay out to make money and some more music..

yeah Mystikal flows nice on a lil Jon beats also..but time wil tell..

I have to say CMR had a sweet deal at the time
$30 million pressing and distribution contract with Universal Records, entitling the label to 85% of their royalties, 50% of their publishing and retaining ownership of all masters.

yea im feelin this video......... tha track wont really about katrina he had a couple line in there tho.... hot video

Bounce That Azz still goes hard though. I still bump a lot of the older jams from the early and mid 90's. The stuff we have now is okay but I guess everybody has their era that they enjoy the most....mine was the 90's.
