alright, im just setting up a recording studio in my basement, its pretty big, but the room in the basement is about 25x25 but im going to put the computer im recording everything onto in a different part of the basement. any suggestions on soundproofing a room, what i plan on recording is a lot of music that requires a lot of tracks, about 9 channels on a mixer just for the drums, i would plan on having about 3 channels for guitars because we already have 2, 3 guitar bands waiting for me to set this up and then i would use 2 channels for vocals, and 2 for basses, and then i would want a few extra just for dubbing and whatnot, any advice on software for a PC to use and a soundcard, pretty much no budget because with all the bands that i have lined up to record and all my other sources of income i can make it back in no time

If money isn't an option, then go with a PROTOOLS set up......

$3,500.00 for the MAC

$3,500.00 for the interface

$9,000.00 for the card

$10,000.00 for the control surface

Then, another $20,000.00 for monitors, FX cards, cables, etc...

:D
