just something I started working on...possible collab???

I just came up with this a couple of days ago...I was just sitting here looking around at HR.com and was holding a guitar and it came to me...but doesnt it always happen like that??? anyway...just thought Id share since all my friends seem to dig it so much....any ideas on where this should go from here???

I like it. It could go so many different ways. For me, I'd say after some period of this intro, just come crashing in, with more of everything...huge guitars, and more banging drums. You could have vox over some of teh intro, then come in with a much harder edged voc as the main tune. It almost screams to just get way harder, and have some very harsh vox.

Just my idea, but it sounds like a cool start. I'm sort of working on something similar, as far as teh slightly mellower intro, and then a sonic blast later.

Is that three guitars or two? I think I hear three. The high distortion on the gits sounds very cool.

I agree with Dogman, this is just leading the listener and it would be unfair to not get harder.
 
its actually 4 guitars...what sounds like a bass guitar is actually a double tracked 6 string tuned to drop D running through a Berhi V-amp. I just set the bass high and used the Tube preamp setting and that is what I ended up with. Drums are just loops just to keep time and Id like to add real drums once I figure out what I want to do with the tune. After that, there are just 2 distorted tracks.

Hey thajeremy,

Sounding really good so far. I feel the drums coming in big time and just going for it!
Even as the next step you could bring the drums in all the way but keep the guitars playing something very similar to what they are doing!...... :)

I like where this could lead to!

Keep us posted on how this develops and if you need some lead guitar or anything, I may just know someone who will like to play with this!!! :D :D
