my name is fat_fleet and i'm a 37yo machinist from Rhode Island, USA.
i posted a few times on other sections of the board (begging for help) and i'm thinking i'll probably stick around to chime in and be annoying from time to time. you folks seem pretty knowledgeable and helpful.
i'm a lifelong audiophile and have been hacking away at various instruments for 25 years. though i've done alot of low-fi cassette 4-tracking with SM57s in my day, my equipment knowledge is pretty limited. i have already had my mind blown trolling this board for just a couple weeks and going through old posts. hopefully you will find my naivete endearing.
