Just purchased a Tascam US-16X08 USB audio interface on-line....Any reviews or tips?

Hello,

Just purchased a Tascam US-16X08 Usb audio interface on-line...waiting for it to arrive in the next few days!!! in the mean time...Anyone else using one? Any tips/tricks/problems?

I have had very good results with the 1800. I think the new one looks to be even better. I would imagine hardware is the same (or close), drivers would be the same and with them dropping SPDIF (which is a good thing) you really should have a good piece of equipment for the money. A lot of inputs to deal with when recording, but the interface has done really well.

Look at what showed up today!!! 18hrs after ordering in online!! I recommend AVShop.ca to anyone in Canada looking for fast service!
 
I have no idea why the Picture posted upside down...It was the right way in the preview.
