Thanks for the Welcome erichenryus. I wouldn't even know how to begin to say your name out loud. Quite unique. You'll have to let me in on the meaning some time.
As for the meaning of "Watyf". I haven't the slightest clue! It's an annoying secret between him and some chic.........What a dork!
C1 vs. U87....hehe We can do that for ya...sure. Let me know what song of his you all would like to hear with a new lead vocal. We can have him retrack and then everyone can compare. That is if he wants to retrack it. I'm sure we could convince him.

cool sounding backing music though. pretty nice polish on the overall mix and i like the backwards drum breaks. i really like the guitar in the left ear....or is that not a guitar? anyway i like it.
they groove could use a little tightening up imo (i know, you only had 90 minutes). get the groove just a little tighter and you got something to lay a melody on top of!

only thing that bothered me was extreme panning. i'm listening on headphones and it's a little too hard r/l on the guitars for my ears.

now go sing something and come back with the standard new guy post: 'i did this real quick, have a cold, it's my first time singing, etc. etc. etc.' and we'll all lash out at you for owning a U87.

Sorry to ressurect this thread... but I figured that I'd let you know that I'm in the process of re-tracking Tell Her (per your request ) using all my bro's gear. Since I recorded it originaly on my old setup, and I no longer have that software, I'm gonna have to re-do everything, so a couple things will be a little different. I'm gonna add some stuff that I didn't have available to me at my house when I originally did it. But I hope that the main difference will be the sound of the vocals. We'll see...



heck.. it might not sound that different at all. But who cares... I just wanted to have an excuse to use his stuff...
