just installed Cubase 5 and already it's failin...

ok, i just installed cubase 5 vst on my computer. the first time i try to playback a file, it works fine, but when i press stop then play again, it is silent, even though the little marker moves. i tried installing on a friend's computer and it worked fine. my computer is a G3 300 mhz, running OS 9.1... what's wrong?
 
hi, I am not sure what the prob is. The reason no-one is replying si that I suspect that nearly all of us are PC users, not Mac.

First port of call is to upgrade all relevant drives and make sure you have the latest version of the software.
