Just Got Myself A M-Audio Firewire 410

It looks and sounds great when I can get it to record, but when I sometimes (it happens often but not always) try to record through Acid Pro 4 my computer gets really slow, the mouse turns to an hour glass and eventually the program locks up and I have to reset my PC.

I've had a similar problem when trying the same in Cubase too. I thought formatting my computer might resolve the problem, but no luck so far.

Does anyone own a Firewire 410 and have any problems with it?

Any help would be great.

P.S.
I also dont seem get any signal on my 'software return' outputs, in the control panel mixer thing.
 
Hard to say what's causing this but I've heard other people having problems with the firewire 410 as well. Seems to be blamed on immature drivers. Should get better then..
Sorry, can't think of anything else right now.
 
i've used two m-audio products, the 1*1 midi interface and the ozone and both have caused my system to crash due to driver problems.
