Haven't recorded with it yet, but, playback of any audio source with headphones sounds....exactly like the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 I had it before it. LOL...I'm sure it will perform well recording...I've heard it has very low latency. My biggest like is the fact it has 2 sets of speaker outputs so I can monitor with good speakers and also pc speakers to simulate what some listeners might be using. Biggest disappointment is the really nice metering is all but unseeable unless you position the box head on with your eyes. I unfortunately have mine mounted under my desk. A handy spot but the meters are barely visible from my angle.

Another nice thing about MOTU interfaces are the dedicated phantom power switches. I hate having to turn on phantom for a mic that doesn’t need it. Only an issue if you’re using ribbon mics, really, but still.
