Just got A&H GS3...help!!!! (with pre fade aux)

My old Fostex 812 board has a pre/post button which lets you listen to the effect on its own, so you can tailor it.

The A&H doesn't seem to work that way!!
All I can get is post fader. So I get the dry signal and the wet together.

I have just got this board and I am told that the above is a big drawback??????

Can anybody help me ??? Please.

I had a GS1 years ago, that was my first ever mixer. I was gonna upgrade to the GS3V but I got a bargain on an old A&H Saber 24/16/16/2 in amazing condition for its age. Great consoles!

check that link and look in the pdf brochure...it says " 4 FX send master outputs with pre-fader listen, solo and automated mute soft-switch"
