just fine - lyrically unfinished

i just recorded this tune with my new "pro audio gear".

i havent finished the song lyrically - i just sort of mumble through it - maybe someone here can help?

I usually write my own lyrics but this board seems like a great place to find folks to collaborate with - so let me know. also, more generally, what do you think of the song?

Alex - this is very good indeed, I like your voice, your guitar playing and the feel of the song. Great singer songwriter stuff. Nicely recorded too. The magic of this kind of thing is that the singer can feel his or her own music, and I think you should work on doing the lyrics yourself.

Do you play out at all? I can see you building a real coffee shop following.

its a good song. the guitars great. i'm not too crazy about the vocals though. it sounds like your grunting, like there's a lot going on in your heart but your voice is having a hard time processing it. just keeping working with it, experiment with different singing styles and see if you can find something that fits your voice better.
