Just ebay'd a CAD VX2 - impressions?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share in the excitement of having picked up my first 'serious' mic - a CAD VX2 from ebay - $700. I think this is a steal for what is reported to be a monster of a mic. As my anticipation for its arrival builds, I'd love for anyone on the board who has one/has worked with one to chime in on their general impressions of this mic, and what sources they've had particularly good luck using it on. From my research it seems to be a great all-arounder.

I did all of my early vocal recordings on a VX2. Great mike! Cost a shit load when it first came out...like over $2000. How did it work out for you? It's been five years. Have you still got it?

It was discontinued I believe in 2007 so they are had used on the bay sometimes as low as $500.
I never picked one up.
