Just brought Audiophile & havin' some problems

I installed the Audiophile on my pc a couple hours ago. But when i got finish and booted my computer it did'nt tell me i have new hardware installed. I have a driver cd dat came with it but i think dats only for the drivers. Also, i tried to go in New Hardware to see if my audiophile hardware device was there but it wasn't. What um doing wrong?

I'll apprecate ye help.
 
What OS are you using ?
Go to add new hardware and do a search.
Make sure you seated the card in the PCI slot firmly.
Check in device manager to see if its there...under multimedia devices.

Did you use the PCI slot next to the AGP (video card) slot. I've heard that with some motherboards, these 2 slots will share the same IRQ. If by chance you used the PCI slot adjacent to the AGP slot, try plugging your soundcard into another PCI slot.
