If your BIOS supports it, you can set it up so that pressing any key on the keyboard starts the computer.

What's the difference between pressing a key on the keyboard and pressing the power on button? - you might ask.

None, for most people, but for digital audio nerds it means you can put the machine in a different room and have all your cables coming through a hole in the wall. You might want to do that so the noise of the machine doesn't get into the microphones, especially if you have the water cooling option because the pump is audible.

Being able to start the computer by pressing any key means you don't have walk around into the other room to start the machine. :)
