Just a little intro deal. Got it now.

I just zipped this (only 60 seconds) Thinking of breaking into something heavy from here. Let me know what you think of the mix.

Sorry it would not let me upload a 936k zip. I have no webspace to post it. I shut them all down because of a pending record deal. I will have to fire up a new one. Does anyone know of a place thats simple to post files. Even if it costs a few bucks. Just don't want the hassles of MP3.*** if you know what I mean. I'm not signing away any rights at this stage of the game.

You have to jump threw a couple hoops, just select the free download at the bottom of the first page and then go to the bottom of the next page, wait for download to pop up and walla.

Not bad at all. It was kind of a tease. Seems like just when it was about to take off it ended.

It seemed mixed well to me, but perhaps the guitar could have been doubled, or panned to separate it from the rest of the mix? It seemed you had lots of stuff centered....

YA the I thought about cloning the guitar track and off setting it a bit then panning it out. Might have to try it. Right now I'm working on some other stuff that might mate up with this little snippet.

I did run a stereo chorus on the guitar but I tried to keep it mild. Perhaps I should have double mic'd the guitar and panned those out?

Any way it was just something thats been floating in my head for about 15 years. I thought it would be a good short project to get use to my new monitors and Sonar.

I really like the low voice. Sounds good to me so far. I am ready for the rest of the song! and...ya know, the song is wanting to start shredding, eh? You almost expect it, especially with the vocals.

Maybe a little more interesting sound on the ac gtr would be nice, but it might depend where you take it from here..

will that take another 15 years!!!! :p
 
Thanks alot mixmkr! Ya I'm thinking shred:) Thanks for the comment on the voice. Last time I posted something someone said I was the love child of Barry White and David Bowie:) I'll take that though.

I am trying to find away to come in on the last beat with the big bong in it. You know the very last beat when only the drums are going. I'm thinking come in with electric guitar for on or two messures and then bring in the rest all at once like a ton of bricks. Might even use a AM radio sound for the first messures before everything comes in. Sort of like something Corrosion of conformity might do.

Any ways I'll keep working on it. Thanks alot.
