hi john,
i've read every bit of your site and think i got it but as i tend to forget or mix up things i would be extremely happy if you could check this.
our rehearsal/studio room is about 4x 6 and rectangular i'll post the exact measurements later, just to see if the idea will work.
Now if we insulate with Rockwool that would kill the high's right? And then to kill low frequencies the hanging board idea (i forgot the name, see what i mean
. if i put large ones in the corner and varying them in size all over the ceiling will the mids/lows be eliminated enough? in other words will this give an overall good sound absorption?
Or should we put a false wall in an angle too? cuz i don't know if that will be possible.
and another thing:
the walls are double by themselves (again i don't know the official term
( will it still be necessary(or better) to get the rockwool off the wall? or is the space between the walls practically the same?
