Joemeek VC1Q or VC1Qcs (over a VC6Q)

I'm thinking of upgrading my Joemeek VC6Q. The main difference is that the VC1Q has an "enhancer" and most importantly a transformer input pre instead of a chip based pre... Fine...

But what about the newer "VC1Qcs" what does the "cs" stands for? I remember reading somewhere the VC1Qcs doesn't have a real transformer input like its older brother the VC1Q. I also remember hearing the older sounds better... Is this true and what are the main differences regarding the technology and mostly sound quality?

I really like the Joemeek sound and my VC6Q ... but will it be a big upgrade going for a VC1Q (or VC1Qcs) ?

Thanks for any input

Kind regards,

Phil

They don't have the input transformer.

And "current sensing" was pretty well debunked.
