Captain Sea Boots
Man, yet another question from me. I recently bought a Akai Headrush E2 to use as a looper. It only has 1 input. I can run my vocals, acoustic, and drum machine through the board and bus them into the pedal, and that sounds fine. My electric sounds like ass through the board though (low end sounds terrible). What is the best and cheapest way to get all these signals into the E2 at once? Will a simple Y cable do the job? Should I get a channel switcher that allows both on at the same time? Budget is definitely less than $100 here. By the way, I am running the signal out of the E2 into my guitar amp.

Would either of these do the trick?

what about this

run vocals, acoustic, drum machines, etc., into the mixer like normal. but use an a/b box to switch between guitar and the other sources. that way you're not loading the pickups or anything weird like that (i don't know what would happen if you used a y cable).

The only issue is that I don't really need to be able to switch the guitar and mixer channel on and off, and I am paying for that utility in most AB boxes. Might be my best bet though, since I don't want tone loss. Hey, you're in Chapel Hill? I work there.
