Absolute bottom of the line drumset/cymbals.

AKG $40 Mics (Forget which ones exactly) running thru a 5 input Eurorack.

Epi Les Paul running through a Crate Halfstack (The shittiest halfstack around).

Drumming gets a bit sloppy towards the end of the solo, BUT,

Great live kind of energy. Sounds like you squeezed quite a bit out of equipment that you're not too happy about. Guitar @ 3:23 = wow.

I can't comment much on the mix, but it does seem to have an odd high end fizzy sort of thing going on throughout. Again though, I thought it was great .

I really quite like this! I know first-hand how unappealing drums can sound when the cymbals are on the cheap side, but I think the nature of the genre is on your side on this one. Really great vocals, lead's damn good too. The fifth/sixth rhythm riff - panned on the right I think - seems a bit sterile to me, i think it needs to flow a little more. But good job, really like those vocals and you've captured the spirit of jamming that was rampant in that particualr rock era.

Although I'm not a Hendrix fan I think the tone you're getting is pretty similar: Raunchy, fully cranked blues, in your face, kinda stuff! The whole song actually very reminiscent of the era. Sounds like a stereo mic on the guitar...I'm not getting that fizzy sound though, more like a OD pedal into a bass master LPB-1 maybe. Cool stuff ziplock, hot playing by all....
