I'd go with the cheap Chinese condensor.

I think I'm going to save my money -- maybe put in on a pre or tube mic
Don't think either of these is an upgrade. ---

Apparently he is, as they are often introduced as "The Rolling Stones, live, and Keith Richards."

I've seen both of them...

As far as pure entertainment value, I'd have to give the "showmanship award" to Mick Jagger. Jim was cool, for sure, so if we were talking "who's the coolest?", I'd give it to Jim Morrison... but as far as which of the two was/is the best showman, Mick has always been very consistant, where with Jim, you never knew what he was going to be like (depending on how loaded he was). I also think Jim was "much deeper", lyrically speaking, than Mick ever was, so if we were talking about which performer had the most "cosmic depth", I'd give it to Jim. FWIW.
