It's being developed by the guy who started Nullsoft (WinAmp, Gnutella, etc.). Apparently he's had some time on his hands since he left his full-time job of pissing off AOL executives.
Looks like it could be pretty cool. But it would have to be easy to use. I couldn't imagine using something in a live setting that requires writing code just to tweak a parameter.
This guy has the time and money to develop a pro piece of equipment. I guess we'll see what happens.
