Hey.
Just wondering if anyone here (probably only Australians) have had any experience with the active DI kits that Jaycar Electronics offer. In particular the KA-1690? It seems to have all the features I want... Runs on phantom or a 9V battery, 16dB pad, earth lift, metal box etc.
My thinking is if Allans music are selling the Behringer DIs for $45 and $69, how good can they be when I can build one myself for $50? I've built power amps from Jaycar kits before and have been very happy with the results, so I was just wondering what anybody here thinks of them.
