I really love the ones where he has a real pro orchestra, totally unused to people making them play with no music - like he says how many trumpets are there, someone says three, he says OK, you play A, you play G sharp and you play a Bb - and they sort of just play this weird chord and he says great - twhathen he does the same with everybody. The thing many people don't spot is that sometimes he gives them the Concert Pitch note name, and they transpose it in their heads and other times he does it for them. He says OK flute - what's your highest F, they peep, he says, OK an octave down? Great. Then he goes to the piano and sings a song that all the crazy notes they've played fit! He did one with a famous pop singer who was scared out of his life because the chords he played were totally new ones and he had no idea how his song would fit, but was amazed when it did. The man is totally dedicated but just totally eccentric at the same time. It's nice to see the looks on the faces of the orchestral players who have never been able to be singled out like they are with Collier in charge.
