What do you say is better for all around unit for recording
propose ???

(and I mean Elc. Guitar and Bass )

any answer/suggestion will be welcomed

thanx

Bass Vamp is a Bass, Elc. Guitar, Acuastic Guitar and keybords amp modeller

Its kinda all around unit

well, I ain't every used no V-amp for Bass, alls I own is a J-station, and I likes it just fine. I also like real amps more, but modellers have a place in the world at 11pm when you got kids or neighbours

using a bass vamp for guitar would be similar to the thought of Stevie Ray Vaughan and other great guitarists using bass amps as an integral part of their sound.

Just because it says Bass doesn't mean you have to use it for bass. It's rock n roll, the only rule is that is should sound good, regardless of how you get it.

I'd say go with the bass v-amp. It's got a wider assortment of amps, cabs and effects. More choices.

one of the things that bothers me is that is doesn't got a tremolo effect which I love ...

can I add that effect later on the computer, isn't in has to be
in some order ?
like tremolo - > pre -> cab -> computer ?

thanx

One thing I did not like about the regular Vamp2, was that it was plastic :). Is the bass V-amp any different???...Again, I don't know about the bass unit, but the regular Vamp2 tones weren't cutting it for me compared to the J, when A/B'd instore.

Think the all the non-rack mounted , non 'pro' version are plastic.

For the current $90 or so, you can't possibly beat the J-Station for guitar and bass dual use. It has amp and cab models for both.

The use of the included J-Edit software is absolutely essential to get full functionality out of the J-Station. Otherwise don't even bother.

At current sale prices, the J-Station is just too useful of a recording tool to pass up.

the thing is that here at israel the price is the same for
a used J Station and a new Bass V-Amp

so price wise I can't really make a choice, I'm trying to get someone here to let me listen to the J-Station

It seems like a good call with very good reviews
