Hallo
Hier you can find some new recordings of mine.
http://members.lycos.nl/strad/

J.S.Bach flute/cembalo sonata and cembalo concerto were done with ORTF technique, microphones around 3 m at front, 2,5m high. I used also Waves IR1 for reverb (hall was quite dry).
G. Muffat - Sonata V, string orchestra. ORTF, 3m high, 1m at front.

2 Rode NT5, Mackie 1202 VLZ pro, Sony DAT.

Viola pieces are older, made with NOS, NT5 and Behringer 802.

Strad,
Very nice! I love the clarity. It must have been a very nice sounding room.
One day I would the opportunity try my hand at recording an ensemble.

sweet! At least one of your players needs to learn some new breathing techniques for close recording. Playing is very nice. Nice to hear some true musicians. As far as the recording is concerned, it sounds fine to me. Nice soundstage. Well balanced. Good job.

Nice to hear guys, thanx. If you tough hear something, what you don't like, you may share it too :))
